More than 700 sustainability executives are set to convene next month in Arizona to discuss the trends, tools and technologies needed to move their companies toward a more sustainable future, energized by the climate goals set last month by the Paris Agreement. GreenBiz 16 will bring together hundreds of leaders from the world's largest companies, sustainability nonprofits, academic institutions and government agencies. The event is convened by GreenBiz Group, the Sustainability Consortium and the Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives, a unit of the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability at Arizona State University. New to this year's event are six targeted program tracks, focusing on some key challenges and opportunities facing today's sustainability executives: Design and the Circular Economy, presented by Dow Purpose and Leadership, presented by PwC Materiality and Metrics, presented by Sealed Air The New Energy Landscape Sustainable Supply Chains Engagement and Storytelling GreenBiz 16 speakers include executives from Best Buy, Boeing, Campbell Soup, Dell, Dow, Gap, JLL, McKinsey, Sealed Air, Staples, Starbucks, Steelcase, VF Corp., Walmart and Walt Disney, as well as visionary leaders such as Ellen MacArthur and Paul Hawken. New speakers are being added weekly. Included in the hundreds already registered to attend are executives from 21st Century Fox, 3M, Baxter Healthcare, Boeing, Facebook, Genentech, GM, Kimberly-Clark, Land O'Lakes, McDonald's, MillerCoors, Ralph Lauren, Sephora, Siemens, Sodexo, Target, Tiffany and Waste Management.
