… Women need to be engaged in decision-making processes, including consultation and negotiation processes, related to investments in land that will help illuminate how grievance mechanisms and remedies can be tailored to their interests. The participatory processes themselves must be accessible and gender-sensitive. Women must be explicitly invited to meetings, separate meetings for women should be held in most contexts, and meetings must be held at times and in places that are accessible and culturally appropriate for women.
