GRI is delighted to invite you to a high level side event at COP21; Spotlight on Climate Change, Human Rights & Sustainable Development – the role of Business hosted by GRI in collaboration with UNICEF, UN Working Group on Business & Human Rights, The Gold Standard Foundation and CliMates.
The event will explore the role of corporate transparency in the context of the linked sustainability challenges of climate change and human rights. The event will discuss best practice that can enable better decision making and contribute to sustainable development.
High level speakers include; Michael Meehan GRI’s CEO, Steve Howard Ikea Group’s CSO, Marion Verles Gold Standard Foundation CEO and Sébastian Lyon, UNICEF ED French Committee, amongst other leaders from business and civil society. The venue in the EU Pavilion, Blue Zone will gather high-level representatives from the private sector, government and civil society; your participation would therefore be greatly valued in this important moderated discussion with the audience.
